REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy regarding refunds, returns, cancellations and services.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS

Interpretation

Words with capitalized initial letters have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions shall have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of this Refund & Returns Policy:

"Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" refers to Yorkshire VWAG Retrofits & Solutions Limited.

"Goods" means any products, parts, accessories, batteries, retrofit equipment, control modules, electronic components, software licences, activation products or other items supplied by Us.

"Services" means any installation, coding, activation, diagnostics, programming, remote support, online service, workshop service or other service supplied by Us.

"Orders" means a request by You to purchase Goods and/or Services from Us.

"You" means the individual, company or other legal entity purchasing Goods or Services from Us.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you are purchasing as a consumer through our website, by telephone or through another distance-selling method, you may have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the Goods without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify Us by a clear statement before the expiry of the cancellation period.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled until the Goods have been received and returned in accordance with this policy.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return:

• The Goods must have been purchased within the previous 14 days.
• You must notify Us within the applicable cancellation period.
• The Goods must be returned complete with all supplied accessories, packaging, manuals and documentation where reasonably possible.
• The Goods must be returned in a condition suitable for resale.

You are entitled to inspect Goods in the same manner that would reasonably be permitted in a retail environment.

If the Goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality, We reserve the right to reduce any refund to reflect any loss in value resulting from such handling.

VEHICLE PARTS, BATTERIES & ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

Due to the nature of the products We supply, batteries, control units, retrofit components, electronic modules, sensors, wiring looms, coding devices, activation products and other electrical or electronic components must not have been:

• Installed
• Connected to a vehicle
• Programmed
• Activated
• Coded
• Modified
• Damaged
• Used in any way

Any item showing signs of installation, electrical connection, coding, activation, programming, modification, misuse, wear, damage or attempted use may be rejected for return or may be subject to a deduction from any refund where permitted by law.

CUSTOM ORDERED & NON-STOCK ITEMS

Goods specifically sourced, ordered, manufactured, configured, coded, programmed, personalized or customized to a customer's requirements are non-cancellable and non-refundable except where faulty or otherwise required by law.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS, ACTIVATION'S & ONLINE SERVICES

Digital products, software licences, activation codes, feature activation's, coding services, remote coding services, remote diagnostics, SFD activation's, software modifications, digital downloads, online services, parameterisation services and electronically supplied services are non-refundable once:

• The activation, coding or service process has commenced.
• Any licence, activation code, token, authorization or digital entitlement has been issued.
• Access to the service has been provided.
• Work has commenced on the order.
• The service has been partially or fully performed.

By requesting that any digital product, activation, coding service, online service or remote service begins during the statutory cancellation period, You expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that Your right to cancel may be lost once performance has commenced or the service has been completed.

WORKSHOP BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS

A non-refundable booking fee of 10% is required for all workshop bookings.

Where parts have been ordered, workshop time reserved, services scheduled or preparation work undertaken, We reserve the right to retain the booking fee and recover any reasonable costs incurred as a result of cancellation.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

If Goods arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact Us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where Goods are found to be faulty, consumers may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

RETURN SHIPPING

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning Goods unless the Goods are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service.

We cannot be held responsible for Goods lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds cannot be processed until returned Goods have been received and inspected.

REFUNDS

Once returned Goods have been received and inspected, We will notify You whether the return has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds will normally be issued within 14 days of:

• Receiving the returned Goods; or
• Receiving satisfactory evidence that the Goods have been returned.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are non-returnable except where faulty or otherwise required by law:

• Custom-made or personalised Goods.
• Goods specifically sourced to customer requirements.
• Installed, programmed, coded or activated electronic components.
• Software licences and digital products.
• Activation services and coding services where work has commenced.
• Remote services and online services where work has commenced.
• Goods that deteriorate rapidly.
• Sealed Goods unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
• Goods inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.

GIFTS

If Goods were marked as a gift and shipped directly to You, a gift credit may be issued upon approval of the return.

Where the Goods were not marked as a gift, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
